The requested Federal Action is for the unconditional approval of an Airport Layout Plan (ALP) to base near-term (0 to 5 years) land acquisition, ALP approval, airport construction and secure Federal Airport Improvement Program funding of a new Weaverville Airport Master Plan.

The action includes replacing the existing Lonnie Pool/Weaverville Airport, authorization to close the existing airport, and to convey federal land.
